Ten Westerville City Schools employees were honored for their contributions to students, dedication to their schools and their commitment to district values as part of the A+ Award recognition at Monday’s school board meeting.
Third-grade students from 11 Westerville City Schools elementaries are celebrating world languages and cultures through song in special community concerts at 7 p.m. Nov. 19, Nov. 20 and Nov. 21 at Westerville Central High School.
National School Psychology Week, which runs from Nov. 11 to Nov. 15, celebrates the contributions of school psychologists and the role they play in schools and communities. It is also an annual opportunity to recognize school psychologists' work to help children thrive in school, at home and in life.

Created by the Sandy Hook Promise organization, Start with Hello Week runs Sept. 16-20 and is focused on helping students build empathy, healthy relationships and social awareness through social-emotional lessons and activities.
